Miles Overview
The Sorento is Kia's mid-size SUV, a three-row family hauler that competes with the Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander. It rides smoothly and handles predictably, with a composed feel that makes it easy to drive every day. The cabin is roomy and practical, with a large cargo area that easily swallows bikes or gear for a weekend trip. Some owners have dealt with minor issues like a leaking A/C hose or steering fluid, though these were often covered under warranty. Leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, and the available third row set the Sorento EX apart from the LX trim below it. Its 3.5L V6 produces 276 horsepower, paired with a six-speed automatic that shifts smoothly and returns 22 mpg combined.
