Miles Overview
The Sorento is Kia's mid-size SUV, a roomy three-row family hauler that competes with the likes of the Toyota Highlander and Honda Pilot. The ride is comfortable and composed, though you'll feel sharper bumps more than in some rivals. Inside, the cabin is well laid out with supportive seats, and the rear cargo area is big enough for two bikes with the seats folded. Some owners report air conditioning issues, often a faulty part covered under warranty. The LX comes with the 2.4L four-cylinder engine and 17-inch alloy wheels, while the EX adds the V6 and more standard features. Its 3.3L V6 makes 290 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, delivering 21 mpg combined. The LX's front-wheel drive and independent suspension keep the ride comfortable, though it's not as quick as the V6 EX.
