Miles Overview
The 2023 Kia K5 is a midsize sedan that slots between the compact Forte and the larger Stinger, offering a sporty yet practical alternative to the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. The K5's steering is quick and well-weighted, and the GT's extra power makes it genuinely quick, though the ride is firm on larger wheels. Inside, the K5 features a clean dashboard with standard dual-zone climate control and available heated and ventilated seats. The K5 benefits from Kia's strong warranty coverage and generally solid reliability, making it a low-stress sedan to own. That power goes to the front wheels through a eight-speed automatic, and the GT will hit 60 mph in the low five-second range. The GT gets a sport-tuned suspension and larger brakes, so it handles corners with real precision, but the ride is noticeably firmer than the EX.
