Miles Overview
The 2020 X3 is BMW's compact luxury SUV, slotting between the X1 and X5 with a sporty edge that rivals the Audi Q5 and Mercedes-Benz GLC. The X3 drives with the agility of a sedan, its steering precise and body control tight, though the ride can feel firm over rough pavement. Inside, the cabin impresses with high-quality materials, comfortable seats, and a spacious rear seat that makes it a practical family hauler. Standard tech includes a responsive infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, plus driver aids like forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking. Reliability is about average for the class, with some owners reporting no issues while others note potential cooling system or oil leak concerns on older examples. If you don't need all-wheel drive, the sDrive30i saves you money over the xDrive30i and still handles well in dry conditions.
