2017 BMW X5 xDrive35i

The 2017 X5 is BMW's midsize luxury SUV, competing with the Mercedes-Benz GLE and Audi Q7. The X5 feels planted and confident at highway speeds, with steering that is precise for a vehicle this size. Inside, the cabin is luxurious and roomy, with comfortable seats and a long list of features, though the optional third row is tight. Some owners have reported air conditioning and airbag issues, but these were typically resolved quickly by dealers. The xDrive35i adds all-wheel drive over the sDrive35i, giving you grip in rain or snow without changing the engine. Its 3.0L I6 makes 300 horsepower and pairs with a smooth eight-speed automatic, returning 20 mpg combined in mixed driving.
