Miles Overview
This is BMW's sporty coupe-like SUV, blending the stance of an SAV with a sloping roofline. It handles with surprising agility for its size, making it feel more athletic than most SUVs. Inside, the cabin is luxurious and spacious, with comfortable seats and plenty of room for rear passengers. Some owners report the turning radius is wide, which can make tight parking and U-turns a bit tricky. Stepping up to the xDrive50i from the xDrive35i brings a 4.4L V8 with 400 horsepower and a standard adaptive suspension for sharper handling. The 4.4L V8 pairs with a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, delivering strong acceleration that matches its athletic looks; expect 15 mpg combined in mixed driving. The xDrive50i's optional Dynamic Handling Package adds active roll stabilization, keeping the body flat through corners despite its 5,269 pounds curb weight.
