Miles Overview
The X6 is BMW's sporty take on the mid-size SUV, blending coupe-like styling with all-wheel-drive capability. It drives more like a sports car than a big SUV, with sharp steering and a firm grip that makes you forget its size. Inside, the cabin feels luxurious and well-built, though the sloping roofline cuts into rear headroom and trunk space. Owners have reported issues like sunroof leaks and engine misfires, so it's worth a thorough inspection before buying. The xDrive35i is the entry point to the X6 range, giving you a capable straight-six and all-wheel drive without the V8's thirst or price. Its 3.0L I6 makes 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that keeps it planted in all weather; expect 17 mpg combined on average.
