Miles Overview
The 2025 X4 is BMW's sporty fastback SUV, a coupe-roofed take on the X3 that trades a bit of cargo space for a sleeker silhouette. It drives with the athleticism you expect from a BMW, feeling more like a sport sedan than a tall SUV, with quick steering and a firm, controlled ride. Inside, you get a driver-focused cockpit with quality materials, comfortable seats, and BMW's latest iDrive system with a curved display and wireless Apple CarPlay. The sloping roofline cuts into rear headroom and cargo space compared to the X3, so it's best for those who prioritize style over maximum utility. Stepping up to the M40i replaces the xDrive30i's four-cylinder with a smooth 3.0L I6 that makes this coupe-SUV feel properly quick. The 3.0L I6 pairs with a eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, delivering 382 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque that get you to 60 mph in the mid-four-second range. Expect 23 mpg combined on premium fuel.
