Miles Overview
The Tacoma is Toyota's compact pickup, a body-on-frame truck that's a common sight on job sites and trails alike. It rides like a proper truck, with a sturdy feel and a suspension that soaks up rough roads without complaint. The cabin is functional and roomy up front, though rear seats in the Access Cab are tight for adults. Owners often praise its long-term reliability, with many reporting years of trouble-free service. Rear-wheel drive and the smaller four-cylinder engine set the PreRunner apart from the V6-powered TRD models above it. Its 2.7L I4 makes 159 horsepower, and with the automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive it's a capable daily driver that doesn't ask for much at the pump.
