Miles Overview
The 2015 Tacoma is Toyota's compact pickup, a truck that's been a top seller for years and still holds its value like few others. It's not quick, but it's easy to handle around town and feels sturdy, which is exactly what you want from a small truck. The cabin is comfortable and roomy for a truck, with plenty of space in both the front and back seats. You get a real truck bed for hauling gear, and the short bed is long enough for a mattress or a snowboard. The PreRunner gives you the lifted stance and off-road look of a 4WD Tacoma but keeps it rear-wheel drive, saving weight and cost. Its 2.7L I4 makes 159 horsepower, and the automatic transmission shifts smoothly enough that you won't miss the manual unless you're a diehard. The PreRunner's suspension is tuned softer than the TRD Pro's, so it rides more comfortably on pavement but isn't as composed off-road.
