Miles Overview
The Tacoma is Toyota's mid-size pickup, a body-on-frame truck that's been a steady seller for years. It drives like a proper truck, with a sturdy feel and a ride that's a bit bouncy when empty, but it handles rough roads with confidence. The cabin is simple and functional, with durable materials and plenty of room up front, though rear legroom is tight in the Access Cab. Owners report that these trucks are extremely reliable, with many going well past 200,000 miles, though some mention a driveline vibration at highway speeds. Stepping up to the PreRunner gives you a rugged look and a taller suspension, but it's still rear-wheel drive like the base model.
