Miles Overview
The Tacoma is Toyota's compact pickup, a truck that's been a favorite for decades because it's tough and holds its value. It's easy to drive for a truck, with a high seating position that gives you a great view of the road ahead. The cabin is practical with plenty of storage spots and cup holders, though it can feel tight with four adults aboard. Some owners mention fading paint on the hood and roof, and the rear suicide doors can be awkward in tight parking spots. The DLX trim adds power windows and locks over the base PreRunner, and the four-wheel drive version gives you true off-road capability. The 4.0L V6 makes 236 horsepower, which is plenty for towing a small boat or hauling a load of lumber, and the four-wheel drive keeps you moving on loose trails.
