Miles Overview
The 2016 Highlander is Toyota's three-row family SUV, slotting between the compact RAV4 and the larger Sequoia. It competes with the Honda Pilot, Ford Explorer, and Nissan Pathfinder in the crowded mid-size crossover segment. The Highlander drives smoothly and quietly, with a composed ride that makes long trips easy. Inside, the cabin is roomy and versatile, with a fold-flat third row that expands cargo space when needed. The LE Plus is the sweet spot for buyers who want the V6 and a few more conveniences than the base LE, without stepping up to the XLE. Its 3.5L V6 makes 231 horsepower and pairs with a smooth six-speed automatic, giving you confident passing power on the highway. This trim adds a power-adjustable driver's seat and upgraded audio, but you'll live without the XLE's sunroof and leather.
