2024 Toyota Sienna XSE

The 2024 Sienna is a hybrid-only minivan that takes on the Chrysler Pacifica and Kia Carnival. The hybrid powertrain delivers smooth, quiet acceleration, and the Sienna handles more like a sedan than a big van. The ride is composed and absorbent, though the cabin can get a bit noisy on coarse pavement. The cabin is roomy and flexible, with second-row captain's chairs and a cavernous cargo area behind the third row. A 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is standard, along with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. The XSE is the sporty-looking Sienna, with a mesh grille and blacked-out trim that set it apart from the LE and XLE. It uses the same 2.5L I4 hybrid making 189 horsepower and returns 35 mpg combined with all-wheel drive. The XSE gets a sport-tuned suspension that firms up the ride a bit, but it still soaks up bumps well.
