Miles Overview
The 2023 Highlander is Toyota's three-row family SUV, slotting between the compact RAV4 and the larger Sequoia. It competes with the Honda Pilot, Kia Telluride, and Hyundai Palisade in the crowded midsize crossover segment. The Highlander drives with a composed, planted feel, and the hybrid's seamless power delivery suits family duty well. Inside, the cabin offers comfortable seating for up to eight, with a practical layout and easy access to the third row. Standard Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 includes adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist across all trims. The Bronze Edition is a special appearance package on the Highlander hybrid, adding unique bronze-colored 18-inch wheels, black exterior trim, and SofTex-trimmed seats with bronze stitching. Its hybrid powertrain pairs a 2.5L I4 hybrid with a continuously variable transmission and two-wheel drive, delivering 186 horsepower and an EPA-rated 36 mpg combined.
