Miles Overview
The Tundra is Toyota's full-size pickup, the one that competes with the Ford F-150 and Chevy Silverado. It rides smoothly on the highway and handles towing with confidence, though the steering feels a bit vague at speed. The cabin is roomy and straightforward, with comfortable seats and plenty of headroom for tall drivers. Owners report that the Tundra holds up well over time, with many mentioning only routine maintenance and a few recalls. The SR5 is the mid-level Tundra, splitting the difference between the base work truck and the loaded Limited, with cloth seats and a practical list of standard features. This SR5 has the 4.7L V8, making 240 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque, paired with a four-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive, which gives it strong pulling power for a half-ton but returns 14 mpg combined.
