Miles Overview
The Tundra is Toyota's full-size pickup, the one that competes with the Ford F-150 and Chevy Silverado. It rides smoothly on the highway and handles towing with confidence, though the steering feels a bit vague at speed. The cabin is roomy and straightforward, with comfortable seats and plenty of headroom for tall drivers. Owners report that the Tundra holds up well over time, with many mentioning only routine maintenance and a few recalls. The SR5 is the volume trim, and stepping up from the base model adds air conditioning, a CD player, and a more powerful engine option. This SR5 has the 3.4L V6 making 190 horsepower and a automatic transmission, which is enough for daily driving and light towing but won't win any races. With four-wheel drive, this Tundra handles snow and dirt roads better than the rear-drive version, though fuel economy takes a hit.
