Miles Overview
The 2020 Sonata is Hyundai's mid-size sedan, a direct rival to the Camry and Accord. It drives with a composed, comfortable feel that's easy to live with day to day. The cabin is roomy and well laid out, with plenty of space for four adults and a generous trunk. Hyundai's reputation for dependability carries over here, and owners report few problems. The 2.5L I4 makes 191 horsepower and pairs with a smooth eight-speed automatic, returning an EPA-estimated 31 mpg combined. Drive Mode Select lets you sharpen throttle response when you want it, but the SEL's 17-inch alloys and cloth seats keep the focus on comfort and value.
