Miles Overview
The 2013 Elantra is Hyundai's compact car, sold as a sedan and a coupe, and it goes up against the Corolla and Civic. It's a light, eager little car that handles well and gets great mileage, though the engine is modest and you'll want to plan highway merges. The cabin is roomy for the class and the seats are comfortable, but taller drivers may find the interior a bit snug. The GLS adds 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, and a six-speaker audio system over the base GS, with cloth seats and a manual transmission as standard. The GLS is the only trim with a manual transmission available, which suits the car's light and tossable character better than the automatic.
