2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport

The 2017 Santa Fe Sport is Hyundai's five-passenger midsize SUV, slotting between the compact Tucson and the three-row Santa Fe. It competes with the Ford Edge, Honda Passport, and Nissan Murano in the midsize two-row crossover segment. The turbocharged engine gives the Santa Fe Sport genuinely quick acceleration, and the steering is direct enough to make it feel smaller than it is. The ride is on the firm side, which helps handling but means you'll feel sharper bumps on broken pavement. Cargo space is generous for the class, and the rear seats fold nearly flat to swallow bulky items. Its 2.4L I4 makes 185 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, which is enough for easy commuting but feels strained when you're climbing a grade or passing.
