Miles Overview
The Electrified GV70 is Genesis's battery-powered take on its compact luxury SUV, aimed squarely at buyers of the Tesla Model Y and Audi Q4 e-tron. The ride is smooth and well controlled, soaking up bumps that would unsettle lesser SUVs, though the extra EV weight is felt over sharp crests. Inside, the cabin is hushed and upscale, with comfortable seats and a clean layout that puts the big touchscreen within easy reach. Dual 14.5-inch screens and the full suite of driver aids distinguish the Advanced, the entry-level trim for Genesis's electric SUV. Its dual-motor all-wheel-drive system makes 429 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, yet Genesis aims for a quiet, effortless feel over outright sportiness. The Advanced rides on 19-inch wheels as standard, and the trade-off for the refined cabin is that 236 miles of range trails some rivals by about 60 miles.
