Miles Overview
The 2022 Pathfinder is Nissan's three-row family SUV, slotting between the compact Rogue and the full-size Armada. It competes with the Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, and Kia Telluride in the crowded midsize SUV segment. The V6 pulls strongly and the nine-speed shifts smoothly, making the Pathfinder feel more athletic than its size suggests. The cabin offers generous space for up to eight, with a practical layout and easy access to the third row. Standard safety tech includes automatic emergency braking and blind-spot warning, with a large touchscreen on higher trims. The SL adds leather-appointed seats, a heated steering wheel, and ProPILOT Assist with Navi-link over the SV, while skipping the Platinum's premium audio and larger wheels. The 3.5L V6 makes 284 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic and four-wheel drive that returns 23 mpg combined. Every SL comes with the 7-position Drive and Terrain Mode Selector, letting you tailor the Pathfinder for sand, mud, or snow.
