Miles Overview
The 2022 Pathfinder is Nissan's three-row family SUV, slotting between the compact Rogue and the full-size Armada. It competes with the Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, and Kia Telluride in the crowded midsize SUV segment. The V6 pulls strongly and the nine-speed shifts smoothly, making the Pathfinder feel more athletic than its size suggests. The cabin offers generous space for up to eight, with a practical layout and easy access to the third row. Standard safety tech includes automatic emergency braking and blind-spot warning, with a large touchscreen on higher trims. The SL adds leather upholstery, a power liftgate, and a larger touchscreen over the SV, making it the popular middle trim. Its 3.5L V6 makes 284 horsepower and pairs with a nine-speed automatic; this SL is front-wheel drive, which saves weight and helps it achieve 23 mpg combined.
