2024 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek

The 2024 Pathfinder is Nissan's three-row family SUV, slotting between the smaller Rogue and the full-size Armada. It squares off against the Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, and Kia Telluride in the crowded mid-size SUV segment. The V6 pulls willingly and the nine-speed shifts smoothly, making the Pathfinder feel more responsive than many rivals. The ride is composed on the highway, though the suspension is tuned firm enough that sharper bumps come through. The cabin is roomy across all three rows, with easy access and generous cargo space behind the third row. Standard tech includes an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Nissan's Safety Shield 360 driver aids. The Pathfinder's nine-speed automatic is a step up from Nissan's older CVTs, and the V6 has a solid track record. The Rock Creek is the off-road-oriented Pathfinder, trading some highway refinement for a more aggressive look and genuine trail capability over the SL. The Rock Creek rides on an off-road-tuned suspension with 18-inch beadlock-style wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, so expect a firmer feel on pavement and more capability off it.
