Miles Overview
The 2023 Pathfinder is Nissan's three-row family SUV, slotting between the smaller Rogue and the full-size Armada. It competes with the Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, and Kia Telluride, offering a roomy cabin and a strong V6. The V6 gives the Pathfinder confident acceleration, and the nine-speed shifts smoothly in daily driving. Its handling is tidy for a large SUV, with composed body control and direct steering that make it easy to place. The cabin offers generous space for seven or eight passengers, with a useful cargo area behind the third row. The SV is the trim for shoppers who want the V6 and the nine-speed without paying for the SL's extra luxury features. The 3.5L V8 pulls strongly from a stop, and the nine-speed automatic keeps it in the sweet spot on hills. This SV has four-wheel drive, which adds confidence on snow or gravel roads and still returns reasonable fuel economy.
