Miles Overview
The 2020 Pathfinder is Nissan's three-row family SUV, slotting between the smaller Rogue and the larger Armada. It squares off against the Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, and Ford Explorer in the competitive mid-size SUV segment. The V6 provides confident acceleration for merging and passing, while the CVT helps keep fuel economy respectable for a vehicle this size. With three rows, the Pathfinder seats up to seven, and folding the rear rows opens up generous cargo space for hauling gear. Owners praise the comfortable seats, spacious cabin, and the available heated steering wheel that warms hands quickly on cold mornings. This four-wheel-drive SL uses the same 3.5L V6 making 284 horsepower and pairs it with Nissan's CVT, which keeps the SUV smooth around town; expect 22 mpg combined in daily driving. The available four-wheel-drive system adds a 4WD Lock mode for loose gravel or snowy driveways, while Hill Descent Control helps on steeper descents.
