Miles Overview
The 2014 Armada is Nissan's full-size SUV, built to carry up to eight people and tow heavy loads. It drives with the commanding view and sturdy feel you want from a big SUV, and it handles tight curves better than you'd expect. The cabin is spacious and comfortable, with available leather seats, a backup camera, and a rear DVD player for passengers. Some owners mention a rattle from the tailgate and a clicking fan motor, but most report no major mechanical issues. The Platinum sits at the top of the Armada lineup above the SV and SL, adding luxury touches like heated leather seats and a premium Bose sound system. Its 5.6L V8 makes 317 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque, routed through a five-speed automatic to four-wheel drive, which gives you confident traction in snow or mud but returns 14 mpg combined. This trim also includes a rear DVD entertainment system with wireless headphones, so the kids can watch movies on long trips.
