2018 Nissan Murano Platinum

The Murano is Nissan's mid-size crossover, the one that trades a bit of utility for a sleeker, more upscale look than the Rogue. It drives with a smooth, quiet confidence that makes it feel more like a luxury car than a typical family SUV. Inside, you get a genuinely comfortable cabin with plenty of room for adults in both rows, plus a large cargo area. Just know the rear blind spots are real, so you'll want the available blind-spot monitoring to help cover them. The Platinum is the top Murano, the one you pick for the full luxury treatment over the SV or SL. Its 3.5L V6 makes 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque, sent through a CVT to all-wheel drive for sure-footed all-weather traction. The Platinum adds climate-controlled front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a motion-activated power liftgate you won't find on lesser trims.
