Miles Overview
The Murano is Nissan's mid-size crossover, the one you cross-shop with the Ford Edge and Honda Passport. It's tuned for comfort, so the steering is light and the ride is calm, which suits daily commuting well. Inside, you get a quiet cabin with plush Zero Gravity seats and a good amount of cargo space for a family. The Platinum is the top Murano, with leather and a panoramic moonroof standard; the SL is the step down if you want fewer frills. Every Murano uses a 3.5L V6 and a CVT, and the Platinum's all-wheel drive gives you confident traction in rain or light snow. Platinum-exclusive 20-inch wheels and a heated steering wheel are nice touches, though the CVT can drone under hard acceleration.
