Miles Overview
The Pathfinder is Nissan's three-row family SUV, the one you cross-shop with the Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander. Its continuously variable transmission makes for a smooth, seamless ride, and the handling is surprisingly composed for a vehicle this size. The cabin is spacious and quiet, with comfortable leather seats and heated seats in the first two rows on many trims. Some owners report minor issues like quick tire wear or an occasional glitch with the liftgate, but most find it reliable overall. The Platinum is the top Pathfinder trim, adding leather, a moonroof, and a premium Bose audio system that the SV and SL trims don't have. Its 3.5L V6 makes 260 horsepower and pairs with a CVT for a smooth, relaxed drive, earning 23 mpg combined. This Platinum comes with Nissan's Around View Monitor, which gives you a bird's-eye view of the SUV when parking.
