Miles Overview
This Pathfinder is Nissan's three-row family SUV, the one you'd cross-shop with a Honda Pilot or Toyota Highlander. The continuously variable transmission keeps the ride smooth and steady, though it can feel a bit jerky at low speeds. The cabin is roomy and quiet, with heated seats in the first two rows and a third row that folds flat when you need cargo space. Owners have had some trouble with the stereo and weather stripping, and tires can wear quickly, but most report no major mechanical issues. Cloth seats and a simpler audio system mark the S as the entry-level trim, sitting below the SV, SL, and Platinum. A 3.5L I6 with an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive gives this Pathfinder confident traction in snow or mud.
