Miles Overview
This Pathfinder is Nissan's three-row family SUV, the one you'd cross-shop with a Honda Pilot or Toyota Highlander. The continuously variable transmission keeps the ride smooth and steady, though it can feel a bit jerky at low speeds. The cabin is roomy and quiet, with heated seats in the first two rows and a third row that folds flat when you need cargo space. Owners have had some trouble with the stereo and weather stripping, and tires can wear quickly, but most report no major mechanical issues. The SL sits between the base S and the loaded Platinum, adding power-adjustable seats and a moonroof while skipping the Platinum's premium audio and leather upholstery. Its 3.5L I6 pairs with a automatic transmission and four-wheel drive, which gives you confident traction in snow or mud without the heavy fuel penalty of a truck-based SUV.
