Miles Overview
The Pathfinder is Nissan's seven-passenger SUV, a body-on-frame design that shares its bones with the Frontier pickup. It rides like a truck, which means a firm, sometimes jiggly highway ride, but it's stable and confident when towing or heading off-road. Inside, the cabin is roomy and practical, with a fold-flat third row and plenty of space for kids and cargo. Owners report solid reliability overall, though some mention paint chipping and a few transmission issues, which Nissan often repaired even out of warranty. The SE comes with a 4.0L V6, cloth seats, and a six-speaker stereo, skipping the LE's leather and sunroof to keep the price down. Expect 17 mpg combined from the rear-wheel drive SE, which is typical for a big body-on-frame SUV this age.
