Miles Overview
The Pathfinder is Nissan's mid-size SUV, a body-on-frame design that seats up to seven with its available third row. It's a capable off-roader, especially in 4WD form, and it tows well for its size. Inside, you get a roomy cabin with plenty of storage, and the seats are comfortable for long trips. Owners report the transmission can be a weak point, and the catalytic converters may need attention. The LE adds leather upholstery, a power-adjustable driver seat, and a sunroof, plus the convenience of four-wheel drive for snow and trail confidence, while the SE keeps things cloth and RWD. Its 4.0L pairs with automatic transmission and four-wheel drive 16 mpg combined, which is about what you'd expect for a capable off-roader this size.
