Miles Overview
The 2015 MKC is Lincoln's entry-level crossover, the smallest SUV in the lineup and the one that shares its bones with the Ford Escape. It's a low-riding performer that feels more like a sporty hatchback than a tall SUV, with quick steering and a confident stance. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade for how well it corners, but the cabin stays impressively quiet. Inside, the cabin materials feel upscale, though the back seat is cramped for adults and the sunroof has been a known leak point. The LS is the base trim, but this one comes with the optional 2.3L I4 and all-wheel drive, so it skips the standard front-drive setup and the Black Label's extra luxury. The 2.3L I4 makes 285 horsepower and drives all four wheels through a six-speed automatic, which gives it a punchy, responsive feel off the line and in traffic.
