2019 Lincoln MKC Select

The MKC is Lincoln's compact luxury SUV, the one that competes with the BMW X1 and Audi Q3. It's a low-riding performer that feels confident on the road, with quick power delivery that makes it eager off the line. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade for how well it corners, but the cabin stays quiet at highway speeds. Inside, you get a well-trimmed cabin with supportive seats, and the rear seats fold flat to open up the cargo area. The Select is the entry-level trim, skipping the Reserve's upgraded audio and leather-wrapped dashboard to keep the price down. Its 2.0L I4 makes 245 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, returning 23 mpg combined. The Select still gets heated leather seats, a power liftgate, and the Sync 3 infotainment system standard.
