Miles Overview
The 2015 MKC is Lincoln's entry-level crossover, the smallest SUV in the lineup and the one that shares its bones with the Ford Escape. It's a low-riding performer that feels more like a sporty hatchback than a tall SUV, with quick steering and a confident stance. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade for how well it corners, but the cabin stays impressively quiet. Inside, the cabin materials feel upscale, though the back seat is cramped for adults and the sunroof has been a known leak point. All-wheel drive and the standard 2.0L I4 set the LS apart from the front-drive base trim, giving you grip in all weather without a big price jump. The 2.0L I4 makes 240 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, which is enough to move this crossover with authority but returns 22 mpg combined. The LS comes with Lincoln's standard suspension tuning, which is firm and controlled, so expect a sporty feel rather than a plush ride.
