Miles Overview
The 2026 Aviator is Lincoln's three-row luxury SUV, slotting between the smaller Nautilus and the larger Navigator. It competes with the Cadillac XT6, Acura MDX, and Volvo XC90, offering a softer, more isolated ride than most. The Aviator glides over pavement with a hushed, effortless feel, and the V6 provides strong, smooth acceleration. Its air suspension soaks up bumps beautifully, though the ride is on the floaty side, which some drivers may find too soft. The cabin is a quiet, upscale space with available 30-way adjustable front seats and a 28-speaker Revel audio system. Heated front seats and the 13.2-inch touchscreen distinguish the Premiere from the Aviator's entry-level trim. Its 3.0L V6 makes 400 horsepower and pairs with a ten-speed automatic; rear-wheel drive is standard, and the adaptive suspension keeps things comfortable. A head-up display is optional on the Premiere, something you don't see at this price point in the three-row luxury SUV class.
