Miles Overview
The 2020 Aviator is Lincoln's three-row luxury SUV, slotting above the Nautilus and below the Navigator. It squares off against the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and Volvo XC90, offering a softer, more isolated ride. The Aviator glides with a hushed, composed demeanor, though the plug-in's extra weight makes it feel less eager in corners. The cabin is a highlight, with 30-way adjustable front seats, rich materials, and a spacious third row that fits adults. Standard Co-Pilot360 safety tech includes automatic emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring, plus a crisp SYNC 3 touchscreen. The Standard is the no-frills way into an Aviator, skipping the Reserve's extra chrome and premium audio for a lower starting price. Its 3.0L V6 makes 400 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, giving you a smooth, effortless pull from a stop. Lincoln Drive Modes let you tailor the throttle and steering feel, but the Standard rides on smaller wheels than the Reserve, so the ride is a touch softer.
