Miles Overview
The 2025 MDX is Acura's three-row luxury SUV, slotting above the RDX and competing with the Lexus RX, BMW X5, and Audi Q7. The MDX handles with a sporty composure rare in its class, and the Type S adds adaptive dampers and a firmer, more responsive setup. The cabin is roomy and well-built, with a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and available massaging front seats. Acura's reputation for dependable engineering carries into the MDX, though the infotainment system has drawn occasional owner complaints. The A-Spec Advance Package adds the A-Spec's blacked-out exterior trim and sport seats to the Advance's ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, and 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D audio. Its 3.5L V6 makes 290 horsepower and works with a ten-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, which gives it confident all-weather traction and a smooth, willing character on the road. The adaptive dampers let you firm up the ride for curvy roads or soften it for highway cruising, and the 20-inch wheels are unique to this trim.
