Miles Overview
The 2022 MDX is Acura's three-row luxury SUV, slotting above the RDX and below the larger offerings from German rivals. It competes with the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and Lexus RX, offering a sportier alternative to those luxury crossovers. The MDX handles with surprising agility for its size, and the available Super Handling All-Wheel Drive sharpens cornering. The cabin offers comfortable seating for seven, with quality materials and a practical layout that holds up well over time. Standard tech includes a 12.3-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a full suite of driver aids. The Type S is the performance flagship of the 2022 MDX lineup, with a higher-output engine, retuned suspension, and standard all-wheel drive over the Advance trim. Its 3.0L V6 makes 355 horsepower paired with a ten-speed automatic, and the Type S tunes the all-wheel drive for sharper turn-in and rear-axle torque vectoring.
