Miles Overview
This is Acura's three-row luxury SUV, the one families cross-shop against the Lexus RX and Volvo XC90. It rides with a smooth, quiet confidence that makes highway miles easy, and the cabin stays hushed even at speed. The interior is roomy for six adults with the third row up, though cargo space behind that row is tight. The Base is the entry point to the MDX range, so it skips some of the Technology and Advance trims' gadgets but keeps the essentials. A naturally aspirated 3.5L V6 makes 290 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque, sent through a nine-speed automatic to all-wheel drive for confident all-weather grip. Expect 22 mpg combined from the V6, which is reasonable for a three-row SUV of this size.
