Miles Overview
The MDX is Acura's three-row family SUV, the one you cross-shop with the Lexus RX and the Volvo XC90. It rides smoothly and quietly, and the cabin stays hushed even at highway speeds. The interior is well built and comfortable, though it doesn't feel as luxurious as some rivals. With the third row up, there's room for six adults but barely any cargo space behind it. The Advance is the top-trim MDX without the hybrid system, so you get the 3.5L V6 and front-wheel drive rather than the Sport Hybrid's all-wheel drive and lower fuel bills. Its 3.5L V6 makes 290 horsepower through a automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive keeps weight down for a lighter feel in corners than the AWD versions. This trim adds the adaptive damper system, which lets you firm up the ride for highway cruising or soften it for bumpy back roads.
