2020 Acura MDX Base

The 2020 Acura MDX is a three-row luxury SUV that blends family practicality with a sportier edge than most rivals. It competes with the Lexus RX, BMW X5, and Audi Q7, offering a more engaging drive than the typical crossover. The MDX handles with surprising agility for its size, and the available Super Handling All-Wheel Drive adds confidence in corners. Inside, you get comfortable seats, a well-organized layout, and a third row that's tight but usable for kids. Standard AcuraWatch safety tech includes adaptive cruise control and collision mitigation braking across the lineup. The Base trim is for buyers who want the MDX's space and handling without the extra cost of the Technology Package's upgrades. Its 3.5L V6 makes 290 horsepower and pairs with a nine-speed automatic, returning 23 mpg combined in front-wheel drive. You give up the available Super Handling All-Wheel Drive, so the Base is lighter but less planted in wet or twisty conditions.
