Miles Overview
The 2012 RDX is Acura's compact SUV, a five-seater that competes with the Lexus RX and BMW X3. It's a responsive little SUV, with sharp steering and a firm ride that keeps it feeling planted on twisty roads. Inside, the cabin is roomy for four adults, and the rear seats fold flat to open up generous cargo space. Owners like the comfortable seats, the all-weather traction, and the easy-opening doors, though some note the interior materials feel a bit cheap. This is the base RDX, offered with either front- or all-wheel drive; the AWD version costs about two thousand more. Its 2.4L I4 makes 240 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, paired with a five-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that deliver confident traction in rain or snow. Fuel economy is 19 mpg combined, which is on par for a compact SUV with all-wheel drive.
