2013 Honda CR-V LX

The 2013 CR-V is a compact crossover that competes with the Toyota RAV4 and Ford Escape, offering a roomy interior and a reputation for reliability. The CR-V is easy to drive and smooth on the road, though the ride can feel firm and there is some road noise at highway speeds. The cabin is exceptionally roomy for the class, with a clever rearview mirror that gives a panoramic view of the back seat, a feature parents appreciate. Owners report minimal issues, though some note that interior door panels scratch easily and tires may wear sooner than expected. Standard cloth seats and a 4-speaker audio system distinguish the LX from the EX and EX-L trims above it. A 2.4L I4 makes 185 horsepower and pairs with a five-speed automatic, returning 25 mpg combined with all-wheel drive.
