Miles Overview
The Enclave is Buick's largest SUV, a three-row family hauler that prioritizes quiet comfort over sporty pretensions. It competes with the Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, and Kia Telluride in the crowded three-row crossover segment. The V6 provides ample power for merging and passing, though the transmission can occasionally hesitate when downshifting. The ride is smooth and well controlled, with a hushed cabin that makes long trips feel effortless. Inside, the Enclave seats up to seven with a spacious second row and a usable third row for kids. The Avenir adds a diamond-mesh grille, leather seating, and a power-folding third row over the Premium, making it the Enclave's luxury flagship. Its 3.6L V6 makes 310 horsepower and pairs with the nine-speed automatic for smooth, quiet acceleration, though the EPA rates it at 21 mpg combined. Only the Avenir offers the available 20-inch pearl nickel wheels and a head-up display, plus a heated steering wheel and ventilated front seats.
