Miles Overview
The MDX is Acura's three-row family SUV, the one you cross-shop with the Lexus RX and the Volvo XC90. It drives smoothly and quietly, with a comfortable ride that soaks up potholes and rough city streets without fuss. The cabin feels upscale and roomy, though the third row is tight for adults and the base model is a bit plain. Standard tech includes a dual-screen infotainment system and available AcuraWatch safety features, plus a 360-degree camera on higher trims. Stepping up to the Advance trim adds the adaptive damper system and ventilated front seats, plus the 360-degree camera and premium audio that make it feel more luxurious than the Technology. Its 3.5L V6 makes 290 horsepower and pairs with a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, which gives you confident traction in rain or snow and a smooth, quiet highway cruise at 26 mpg highway. The adaptive dampers are exclusive to Advance and let you choose between a plusher ride and sharper handling, though the third row is still best left for kids.
