Miles Overview
The MDX is Acura's three-row family SUV, the one you cross-shop with the Lexus RX and the Volvo XC90. It drives smoothly and quietly, with a comfortable ride that soaks up potholes and rough city streets without fuss. The cabin feels upscale and roomy, though the third row is tight for adults and the base model is a bit plain. Standard tech includes a dual-screen infotainment system and available AcuraWatch safety features, plus a 360-degree camera on higher trims. AcuraWatch Plus and the ELS Studio audio system set the Technology apart from the base MDX, but you give up the Advance's ventilated seats and surround-view camera. Its 3.5L V6 makes 290 horsepower and the nine-speed automatic shifts smoothly, though it can hunt for gears in stop-and-go traffic.
