Miles Overview
The MDX is Acura's three-row luxury SUV, the one families cross-shop against the Lexus RX and the Volvo XC90. It drives smoothly and feels planted, though the transmission can be a bit hesitant at low speeds around town. The cabin feels upscale with quality materials, but the third row is snug for adults and best left to kids. Reliability is a strong point, with most owners reporting few issues, though the front seats can show wear over time. Front-wheel drive and a lower starting price set the Base apart from the Technology Package and Advance trims. A 3.5L V6 making 290 horsepower pairs with a six-speed automatic, and with all-wheel drive it returns 21 mpg combined.
